Before a bottle is ready to go on the shelf, it passes through many machines in the bottling plant. There is a high price to pay if the belts come to a stop. Metered lubricants ensure smooth running.

Requirements - Metering of Belt Lubricants

 

Because things have to continually keep moving, the ProMinent proportional metering unit keeps the transport chains perfectly lubricated. The unit is clever (precise metering) and delicate (lubricant is sprayed on evenly with little pressure). Even operators with no programming knowledge can easily control processes: using the automatic function, timer control or simple operation in manual mode, for example. To save water and chemicals, the nozzle systems can be activated and deactivated using time-controlled solenoid valves and the lubricant solution fed using volume-proportional metering systems. ProMinent's expert advisers will be happy to explain other possible applications to you.
