Cooling circuits are used throughout the world in many different applications. The primary aim is to condition the cooling water with special additives and inhibitors to reliably avoid damage in plant and equipment. This can be achieved with compact cooling tower control systems.
The example of Sigma motor metering pumps and delta® diaphragm metering pumps demonstrates how design-integrated safety features and precision metering can protect the environment. These features are not optional but rather come as standard with the pumps.
The systems are used for producing, metering and monitoring chlorine dioxide at rates from 20 to 2,000 g/h. A completely re-engineered reactor concept guarantees chlorine dioxide is produced and metered in an innovative process.
A new sensor, specially developed by ProMinent for use in hot water, can be used for the purpose of monitoring the disinfection parameter “free chlorine” in hot water circuits up to 70 °C and pressures up to 8 bar.
The congress taking place in parallel to ACHEMA will also reflect the variety of process technology. Numerous special events, panel discussions, brains trust, panels of experts and plenary addresses ensure an informative congress programme. Celebrities from politics, economics and science, as well as various guest events offer the opportunity for dialogues to experts, management and users.
