Therefore, in Germany, there are strong legal regulations to minimize the risk when handling environmentally hazardous substances. The German Federal Water Act (WHG) lists the principal regulations for the construction and the handling of plants in which these substances are stored or transported. This framework provided by the German Government is filled out by laws and legal regulations on the level of individual states (e.g. “German Federal Act on Plants handling with Substances Hazardous to Waters VAwS, Check Mark Ordinance). All our Storage Reservoirs comply with these regulations.
With all Approvals
The reservoir production at ProMinent constitutes a specialized factory according to WHG § 19l. Since 1993, a supervision contract has existed with the German Technical Inspection Authority (TÜV) in Bavaria-Saxony. At various times each year, the production site is inspected and the staff is tested. Furthermore, we are certified according to the “General Construction Inspection Approval” Z-40.21-229 that authorizes us to the construction of cylindrical storage reservoirs with check marks for up to 50m³.

Customer-specific Reservoirs
Of course, we will also produce reservoirs and drip pans designed for your specific requirements (up to a volume of 25 m3).
Professional Manufacturing
- Materials: The material used is, without exception, polymer plates of specially approved, high-density Polyethylene.
- Design: Designing the reservoirs requires thorough knowledge of the medium to be stored or its components. If no information on the permanent resistance of a chemical is available, storage tests will clarify this.
- Workmanship: Welding is accomplished with CNC controlled welding apparatus and with hand-welding torches by professionals, TÜV approved polymer welders.
- Test: A tightness test of at least 24 hours completes the production step. Each of our reservoir static is counter-checked prior to realization by an independent testing authorization.
- Safety: Safety during storage of fluid products is also assured by approved overfill safety devices and leakage probes.

Moreover tailor-made to the requirements of our customers, our reservoirs may, of course, be equipped with accessories such as filling devices, heating for the storage medium, devices for optical and electronic level monitoring, air scrubbers etc. |
