Waste Water Treatment

Effluents from local communities contain a high amount of phosphates that contribute to the over-fertilization of waters. Increased algae growth and high oxygen consumption result in fish mortality and to the upsetting of the balances of waters. However, the treatment of industrial effluents by companies, also, becomes more and more important due to increasingly stronger legal regulations and increasing costs for effluent disposal.

Maintaining the biologic balance and a healthy nature require the reduction of the contraries in the effluent. Phosphates are therefore reduced in the biologic treatment step in purification plants by means of bacteria (biologic phosphate elimination).

For observing even the high demands for waste water values in the various steps of purification plants, an additional phosphate precipitation step with metallic salts such as ferric-III-chloride or aluminium sulphate is executed.

In the „simultaneous precipitation“ the precipator is dosed in the input of the activated sludge tanks. The phosphates combine with the metallic salts to insolvable particles and can thus be separated from the effluent without any problems.

For the optimization of the oxygen input into the activated sludge tanks (biological step) of purification plants, we offer tailor-made sensors as well as measuring and control technology for the measurement of the dissolved oxygen.

For reliable pH correction, especially for industrial effluents, we offer both complete neutralization plants for fully automated pH control and individual components for this application.
